Once a month, we like to feature one of our designers and allow them work their magic on creating a newly designed space located in our showroom.  This month’s feature is by our talented designer, Sue Clements.  Sue has amazing attention to detail and really puts her whole heart into creating the perfect space for her clients.

Sue's experience includes draftsperson/designer, CAD operator, and project manager in the corporate environment. Sue has drapery workroom experience, working as the designer for a custom drapery shop, and was a small business owner. Her hobbies include fiber arts, gardening, cooking, travel, art, and repurposing vintage finds. Susan's favorite thing about her job is assisting clients in developing a plan to achieve their unique living space. She enjoys the collaborative selection of furnishings and accessories, including window treatments, art, and accessories to achieve the home of their dreams. All this information is translated into a presentation that includes floor plans, window treatment designs, design boards with fabric and finish selections, flooring samples, art, and accessories.

“I was inspired to do something fresh for spring and I wanted to use this new set of Sherrill sofa and chairs. Blue and grey are a great combination and we have some amazing pieces in our inventory I was able to pull together for this space. The floral prints were the perfect spring element I was looking for and add a nice touch of nature.

The current trend in home offices due to the surge in remote working inspired me to incorporate the Sligh desk and lateral file.

Our rugs were the perfect look and colors. The abstract painting behind the sofa had all the right colors. I love those stone lamps and how they worked so well with the colors and especially the tall abstract paintings. Everything else fell into place.

David and Jessy from our visual team helped me place everything in the space. We make a great team!
