Teresa has extensive knowledge in space planning, color and fabric coordination, accessorizing, and custom window treatments. In 2000, she decorated the "Jamar House" in Tidewater Builder's Parade of Homes and received Gold for both: Best Interior Design and Best Interior Furnishings. Teresa was born and raised in Charlottesville, VA then moved to Virginia Beach in 1989. Her love for creativity and decorating started at a very young age. Even before her teenage years, she was always experimenting with color and rearranging her bedroom. Her introduction into the profession started in 1986 as an apprentice at Charlottesville Design Center with a focus on custom window treatments. From there she moved on to a career in interior decorating. Now with over 30 years in the field working for places such as Ethan Allen, Thomasville, and Coverworks, as a designer, visual merchandiser, buyer, customer service representative, and manager, she comes to Willis Furniture well-rounded and ready to provide the service you need, from one piece to an entire house. Teresa wants her customers to know that together, you and she can create an environment that you love calling home.
