I See Home 1 is an accomplished abstract work on canvas that calls to mind the work of the influential American Abstract Expressionist Robert Rauschenberg. The focus of this composition is on the elements of texture, shape, and emphasis. The viewer’s eye is immediately drawn to objects situated at the center of the work, thus providing it with an emphasis point. Half-ovoid shapes appear along the edges of the picture plane while a faint geometric grid appears in the background. Texture is rendered by applying hand-drawn marks throughout the work.
