Art By Ta – Lost In Mood 1
Lost in Mood is an exceptional study in composition and color theory. In this elegant work on canvas, the figure-ground perspective is brought forward through the perception of the foreground in relation to the ground. The foreground is rendered in a blurred wash of sky blue, pale teal, and faint indigo with a brush of maize. The ground is sharply defined by distinct vertical shapes in maize, lilac, and khaki with a shock of alabaster in the center. In between, repeating jagged shapes in plum, teal, emerald, and forest green provide a contrasting focal point. Depth and dimension are created by the interplay of the elements that comprise this exquisitely balanced composition. The peaceful composition of Lost in Mood inspires a feeling of quiet contemplation through blurred abstract forms and a subdued palette. Part of the carefully curated ART by TA collection, this is an original and exclusive work of art on canvas.

Why Shop at Willis Furniture?
A Legacy of Trust Since 1892
Willis Furniture is not just a store; it is a 4th-generation, family-owned institution in Virginia Beach. For over 130 years, we have served the Hampton Roads community, transitioning from a small downtown Norfolk shop to our current 50,000 sq. ft. showroom on Virginia Beach Boulevard.
Does Willis Furniture offer design services? Yes. We believe confident purchases come from professional guidance. We offer complimentary design consultations (in-store, in-home, or virtual) to help you measure, plan, and style your room perfectly.
